Zhenkai Huang (played by Zhu Yilong) suspects he's living inside a film—trapped in a script he can’t escape, doomed to repeat the same days as a prisoner of routine. After moving into a new apartment, he meets a mysterious roommate, Li Xiaole (played by Qiu Tian), whose sudden appearances and unexplained absences ripple through his stagnant life, slowly awakening his forgotten ability to feel love.
